La Antigua Mexican Restaurant in Georgetown

I have to say that my knowledge of the menu it's very limited, because we haven't ordered from it in years. We always go there for their lunch buffet, which goes from 11 - 3. They have a fairly wide selection on the buffet. I really enjoy their tamales, but my favorite item I away must have when I eat Mexican food is chile rellenos, and theirs hit the spot. I highly recommend checking out the buffet.

Love this place. Supper time it is kind of high but the lunch Buffet is amazing. 9.99 for all you can eat and drink great deal. The also keep it regularly stock. If my stomach cold take it i would eat here every day.

I was already feeling queasy but I found a dead fly in my chesse dip on my dinner plate of chimichangas. This was the only mexican restaurant left in Georgetown that produced hot fresh food without hair in it. Not anymore. I threw up. And the staff was apathetic about it.

Service was awful and took a few attempts to get our order correct.

Average Mexican food but in my opinion, the best that Georgetown currently offers.The servers are amazing and on top of everything.The drinks are delicious and not overpriced!

Very pleased Texan!!My family and I are visiting from Texas. So, naturally we lowered our standards for any Mexican place we found. There was five of us, we all got different plates, EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations! Down to the chips and salsa! 🙌 Y’all, chips and salsa are my vice 😉 The salsa tasted homemade, and I couldn’t stop munching, even after I cleared my plate. So, why the four star review? The service was pretty good, but it took a while to get any refills on our drinks, and the paper towels were empty in the bathroom 🤷‍♀️ Other than that, I will recommend this place to any of my friends and family passing through Georgetown! 😊🙌👍

Picked up my order from here got home only to taste burnt refried beans everything else is ok. First time here.....

Love eating here,they have the best Mexican food in town.I always get the speedy Gonzales lunch.Its simple Mexican food that cheap with a large amount of food. Try the bar the cervaza is great.

Absolutely love this restaurant, great service and great food! Just got done eating here for the second time and was very pleased. The food, atmosphere, ambience, and service were all wonderful. My kids even had a great time, which made it easier for my husband and I to have a lovely time. Best way to end my birthday!

The food here is amazing. It's family owned, I believe, and there are a couple of them that are in a crusty mood, but not always. We visit this place every once in a while, but switched to mi casita #2 as the atmosphere, food, and employees are consistently better.

The tastiest Mexican food in Georgetown. There is no comparison. It's clean, delicious, and reasonable. They also have a lunch menu. The owners and workers are sweet.

Love this resturant. The food is exceptional and the service is pretty good too. This is our go to place for special occassions. The manager there is top notch. He always speaks to my kids and has even been known to bring them a treat. I def recommend eating here.

The buffet food was practically empty & what was left available was slim crusty pickings. For $40+ for myself, my spouse & my 7yr old daughter(3 people)it was nothing to write home to mom about, meh.😒

Service is normally good, food is above average for being in Georgetown, Kentucky... Drinks are good and not overpriced, get the big house margarita on the rocks and tell them make it "fuerte"... Good to go 😉

Child labor x2, at least where visible. This is a massive issue and needs to be addressed immediately! Fajitas came incomplete, requested remaining bits several times, received when the rest of the food was cold. Party of 4 sat down when we, a party of 2 did, they were done and gone before what we ordered was complete. Taking our dinner home to reheat it properly, season it’s overly bland-ness a bit. Won’t be coming back. First time we came it was great, service food, atmosphere. Now it’s like everything else in this god awful state. No reason to go out with service and food like this!

The Guacamole Texano is probably the best guac I've ever had & I live in Texas and travel to Mx often.
